Shayne is of Ngāti Kahungunu descent and has held executive and governance roles across multiple sectors. Specialising in Māori engagement and strategy, Shayne’s recent roles include Chief Executive Officer of Ngāti Porou Holdings and Chairperson of the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board.
With a foundation in the primary sector and leadership across govt services, Shayne is actively engaged across economic development throughout Te Matau a Māui – Hawke’s Bay.
